Energy consumption of human brain as a ratio to other parts of body is highest amongst all mammals, perhaps. Perhaps we are only species who can substantially gossip, my guru said. Most of living things can express some of their feelings, many can tell stories to fellows and others about their observations or experiences. our ability to build up huge stories with little or no facts is unique as a species. our imaginations know no bindings, almost. We invented god and it's derivatives and institutions around these. These institutions gave us rules and rituals i.e. Religion. The more elaborate religions make their gods bigger and bigger.
