Having a servant is not right perhaps. You are right. But this is economics first. I can serve and you have money to buy my service. Then, I desperately want money and little more money. And in this particular case of Devyani-Sangeeta, dream of 'merica is an added spice. These two D & S dreams to live beyond (their) rights. Two not rights make many wrongs.
In India bonded labor is legally eradicated, but there is no certainty that it is not practiced is some unobserved corner.
