Boodhooram Ignoramus loves paying taxes. He has to earn more and to spend more, to pay more taxes. In all transactions there are taxes. After retirement from service his tax quota plummeted. 

Tax is charged to run the country, to defend territory and developments.  

Ignoramus Boodhooram loves large retail shop because customer does not sit or stand outside the shop. The shop is clean and cool with little extra payment from his pocket . Opponent of large retail chain, FDI or not, so far boodhooram makes it, thinks of sufferings of middle men suckers. Consumers' choice/comfort doesn't matter much to them. 

Foot path of Kolkata occupied by many people. Many hearts bleed for encroacher. As policy makers most of the time moves in cars, existence of walkers, on work or pleasure, is simply forgotten. Government land may perhaps be used for low cost housing or for trades or for temples. But that should be official. Taxed money may be used to remove the encroacher.
